Lateral canthoplasty is minor surgery to extend the outer corner of the eye. The effect is to lengthen the eye in the lateral direction and increases the horizontal length of the eye. The overall result is to make the eye appears longer.

Surgery Technique: A small incision is made around the outer corner of the eye. The outer corner is opened, lengthened, and fixed with suture.
