Saggy upper eyelid is one of the common signs of facial aging. The upper eyelid becomes thicker, saggy and bulgy. The patient appears tired and sleepy. In severe cases the saggy upper eyelid may come down and cover part of the eye and affect the vision. Upper blepharoplasty is a surgery on the upper eyelid designed to address these problems. The aim is to correct the structural changes in the upper eyelid due to aging in order to create a youthful but natural-looking upper eyelid.
